Hi there

If you are logging onto your server or hosting via FTP with cute FTP, sometimes it wont let you see the hidden files on the server, like the htaccess file etc, you just need to tell cute ftp to show these files, its not difficult to do you do the following.

Bring up Cute Ftp and it should list your sites down the right under site manager, highlight your site and click the actions tab across the top.

Click filter at the bottom, make sure theres a tick in the first box enable filtering also check enable server side filtering, then in the blank box below that you need to type

-a

Apply then click ok.

You should see your hidden files the next time you login
